In mid-January, in the laboratory Díaz Gill Laboratory Medicine, we carried out the installation and commissioning of 2 instruments of the HELENA Laboratories brand.
With the V8 Nexus instrument, the laboratory will be able to perform capillary protein electrophoresis, hemoglobin electrophoresis, and as a diagnostic novelty, implement the Immunodisplacement methodology.
With the Spife Touch instrument, also from Helena Laboratories, they will be able to perform agarose gel electrophoresis, a world-leading methodology.
Commissioned by Biodiagnóstico, biochemist Verónica Espinoza and engineer Alejandro Canese participated, receiving on-site support from colleagues Fernando Rodríguez and Jovan Klaric, who traveled from the sister company Cabinsur, from Montevideo, Uruguay.
With the presence of the laboratory supervisors, the verification and validation processes were carried out, corroborating the perfect functioning of the instruments, and complying with the qualification requirements demanded by the high quality standards of the Díaz Gill laboratory.
